 Gladden Community House FoodGiveawayAugust 20th, Gladden Community House is a settlement house serving Franklinton and surrounding neighborhoods. Throughout the summer, this wonderful organization organizes giveaways of fresh foods and produce. Tons of food is donated to this giveaway by Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Cougars for the Community helped to serve 200 households totaling over 500 people gaining accept to foods that they would not have had otherwise. |  Summer Member SocialOn July 31st, members were invited to a coffee house social where member certificates were handed out. Members got to know one another a little better and were appreciated by their leaders. |  Franklinton Gardens 3rd Summer EventOn July 28th and throughout this summer, Cougars For The Community, Connect2Complete and Student Ambassadors have dedicated many dates throughout the summer to serve at Franklinton Gardens. Franklinton Gardens is a local not-for-profit that is dedicated to turning old or abandoned lots into community gardens. |

 At Risk Youth FundraiserOn July 23rd, Cougars for the Community held a fund raising bake sale. All proceeds went toward a program that supports at risk youth. This Event was coordinated and led by Cougars For The Community Vice President Kamara Willoughby. Reading Buddies provides after school reading practice to students. Cougars For The Community Members Kamara and Jude presented to the kids about going to college at Columbus State. |
